Expertise

Expertise: Biological invasion, climate change, and conservation, primarily in the context of insects in forested ecosystems.

We also assess threats to species of conservation concern and develop solutions to mitigate the environmental impacts that may underlie their decrease.

Some of the currently funded projects in my lab

  • Geographical Variation in Physiology in Invasion Range Front Populations of Gypsy Moth Along a Climate Gradient
  • Biological Control of Invasive Swallow-worts
  • Declines in Giant Silk Moths
  • The Rebirth of a Long Dormant Invader, the Browntail Moth
  • Resurrection of American Chestnut
