Expertise

Jane’s library experience is a blend of working in public, academic and law libraries and library automation and database companies. Her expertise is working in archives, special collections, genealogy and local history.

Having successfully re-opened the SUNY ESF (Hoverter Archives) in 2014 after it had been closed for 3 years - Jane is an advocate for SUNY ESF’s history and works towards preserving, digitizing and sharing items and information from the SUNY ESF archives and special collections.

Jane also teaches a credit course: ESF 200 Information Literacy and was the creator of the first online version of this course in 2009.
